I'm having to try and use my nomad to control dimmers that have been somewhat 'frankenstiened' together; in the loop there are 2x 16Amp circuit dimmer packs (with breakers in-built but no brand name), x2 13amp digital 'Performer series' Transcension 6-circuit dimmer packs and 1x Alpha pack. All daisy chained to gether with 5pin DMx. The lights plugged in all work using a crappy two scene fade desk but my Nomad cannot find control.
The Nomad is reading as sending out DMX signal and the software is showing the conection with the Nomad fine as well. I've tried reducing the speed of the Nomad to slow (and resetting afterwards) but now I can't think of what else to try or if the dimmers really are just to terrible for the Nomad to speak to. This has happened only one time before for me in a venue that had brand new dimmers so i'm wondering what the restrictions with Nomad being compatible with Dimming systems - I'd like to know!
