Magic sheet toggle selection

Just double click on the background to deselect.

If i click on a group palette... I cant click on it to deselect the group. I need to clear.... Or if several croups, shift clear. I want to be abke to just click back on the same palette and deselect the group

How about a command button to clear the whole command line. One touch!

But I like adding a function: if something is selected a second touch deselects. Most systems work that way!

precisely. In my Magic sheets I have Fixtures and then i have Group Palettes. So sometimes u want to selct a group, change some parameter, then want to select another group, but then instead of clicking on the first group to deselect i then have to go to clear . it gets more annoying is i want to change a parameter on say three groups....then maka further change on say only one of them, I then have to clear and re select. so how do i add a funtion or can it be toggled so that a sencond tap can clear just like with selecting fixtures.

With a selection of groups, if you double tap on a single group, the console will select only that single group.

You could also add a button to your magic sheet that is the "-" key, and tap that before you tap on a group you would like to deselect.

I agree that it is strange that clicking on three channels, then clicking on the first one again will deselect the first channel, but clicking on three groups and then clicking on the first group again will not deselect the first group. I imagine this is because of the way that the console is tracking what is actually selected (it is translating groups into channels behind the scenes).
