RDM not working properly

Hi,

I try use RDM to find Clay packy BEye K20 in ETC system.

RDM did find the fixture, and I can change the address or mode from console.

Then I patch the fixture

Wierd thing happen, the fixture can not be turn on, but could pan tilt.

An then, I re-patch the fixture by manual, everything is normal.

Any idea?

    This sounds like the console auto-generated a fixture profile based on what the K20 provided via RDM, and the intensity parameter was not appropriately specified/determined.

    Can you do the following as we try and figure out where the issue occurred:
    1. Do a deep clear on the console
    2. Start up the console
    3. Go to Patch -> Device List
    4. Select the Clay Paky fixture and patch it to a channel
    5. Verify the issue still occurs
    6. Save a copy of this showfile
    7. Exit to the shell
    8. Settings -> Maintenance -> Save Logs
    9. In the prompts, go to Advanced, and check "Include RDM Cache"
    10. Finish saving logs to a USB drive
    11. Send the showfile and logs to hh <at> etcconnect <dot> com
