Mac aura

For one event i patch 5 mac aura fixtures with my lighting console.during the event suddenly these fixtures went off and later found out the console dmx out port is damage .during test run everything was fine .

After relpacing an Ic the dmx out of the console was fixed.still can not figure out what has happend to the mac aura .All the fixures have the same issue .Fixture cant controll thr dmx .

sounds like something in your dmx-chain has shorted the signal to a higher voltage. the question is now if it an aura or the console. have you tried connecting the console not to the first aura but rather to the second or to the third, maybe the first aura shorted and killed the dmx card of the console and of the second aura. if the optocouplers were successful the third aura might have survived...
