Sluggish console in multi setup

We are running two EOS Ti as backup/client together with a RPU2 master in network. One of the EOS Ti is connected thru our Cat5 net, the other in Cat6. When both consoles are plugged in (the one thru Cat5 is added) we experience freeze, screen dips and lag in the system. Anyone who has experienced similar problems?

Our house net cables are Cat5 and all our Nodes etc run though this system.

There are many possible reasons for this to occur, but the network infrastructure plays a strong part in this.
