ETC Nomad Display Resolution not matching native.

Hi,

I have just updated to nomad 2.5.2.

The resolution of it now doesn't match my monitor. It now resembles 640p and everything is huge and almost unusable.

How do I change it? When I go into the shell I don't have the option to edit the resolution of the screen. Do I need to add another screen to get that option?

I'm on a lenovo yoga 710 on windows 10.

Thanks

  • Hi Elliot,

We added a setting in 2.5.2 for "High DPI Display Scaling". Its default is Auto, and it seems that this may not be working properly in your system. Try changing it from Auto to Disabled (this is in Settings-> General).

If, by chance, it was manually set to 2x (which forces it to scale up), then set it back to Auto and see how it does.

The feature was added to better support 4K/QHD monitors -- on those screens the buttons used to be impossibly small to use or read.

    Thanks!
