RDM and ColorSource Relay/Spot

I just upgraded the software on our ColorSource Wireless Relays (or attempted to). 4 of the 5 are still showing 1.0p0.0ga-35, 3.0p0.0ga-5 for "Software Version Label" while the 5th shows 1.1.0.9.0.11, 3.3.0.9.0.593 (the 5th was the first one I attempted to update.) All were updated from the same flash drive. I reattempted the installation on each of the other 4.

RDM discovery does (eventually) find all 8 of the ColorSource Spots (but does not seem to come up with them as Deep Blue), which are connected to the 4th relay, but only 1 of the 15 Elation SixPar 300s is discovered. (those are on different relays than the ColorSource Spots).

If anyone has any suggestions of things to try, I'd love to hear them.

  • Do you see different behavior on the Elation SixPar fixtures if they are connected directly to the back of the Ion? A quick test with a single fixture direct to the back of the console would be useful diagnostically. (Console I/O card has to be running firmware version 1.4.1 or higher -- you can check this in Diagnostics (Tab 99) on the left hand side of the screen towards the middle). You could also run them into a Net3 DMX/RDM gateway if that's easier.
Are the fixtures terminated at the end of the line?
