Updating really outdated ION

I think that it will be fine to update directly to the latest version, however:

• You may need new keycaps (I don't remember when some of the key changes were implemented).
• You will definitely need some time to adjust to new syntax and displays, so I would plan accordingly.
• The latest manual is for 2.0.0, so print that and all of the supplementary updates to the documentation to have on hand.

The update file always has all the updates in that file. You only need the latest, which usually comes with the upgrade itself.

Also you'll need your consoles serial number to get the key caps.
