Hello, I am running into the same issues with color picker for High End (ETC?) SolaWash 2000 and the new SolaTheater fixtures. The profiles for the fixtures are not calibrated so calling out gel numbers is not useful. For example the fixtures think R80 is a pale lavender. Yes I realize I could create color paletts for the most popular colors and I may start doing that in my spare time. It seems that the actual color calibration is built into the fixture profile and is not user accessible. Is there a better way to do this matematically and in bulk? Every show we spend a longer time with the designer creating color paletts for these fixtures because the profile doesnt get us anywhere close to what the color should be. I am hoping that someday the color picker will be able to land somewhere very close to what humans perceive the color actually is.
