Fixture definition error for Martin MAC Quantum Profile?

I'm attempting to pre-program a show for an Element on the offline ETCnomad software (version 2.4.1.9.0.21)

The show will use four Martin MAC Quantum Profiles, but either I'm using the ML controls incorrectly or I'm having problems with the fixture definition. (I've got Fixture Library Version 2.4.0.9.0.53)

My problem involves specifying that a gobo should rotate slowly. Under "Gobo Select", I select "whirlpool" (gobo 5) and then "Rot". When I select "Rot", the "Gobo Ind/Spd" virtual wheel is replaced with a selection of buttons ("None", "Rot", and "Index 45%"). This is most unhelpful, as I now cannot set a speed for that rotation. Any of the other buttons under "Gobo Select" bring back that speed wheel, but that doesn't get me a rotating gobo.

I've looked into editing the fixture definition, but I don't understand the mechanism by which that control is swapped out, so I was not able to fix it.

Both the Extended and Basic fixture definitions have this problem.

I'm looking for any of:
a) Directions on how to properly use this, if I'm just not using the controls properly.
b) An updated fixture definition (for either Extended or Basic modes)
c) References to documentation that would allow me to learn how to fix the fixture definition myself. I have read the "Fixture Editor" section of Element_v2.1.0_User_Manual_RevA.pdf. It is possible that I have missed some vital point, but it is more likely that I need a reference that describes what the different parameters do or perhaps a tutorial on building fixture definitions that includes details on using a DMX field that is used for different purposes (in this case indexing and rotation speed).

Any help or suggestions appreciated - Thanks.
