Subs to control a fixture parameter

in your description, the submaster is set to "Intensity Master." the fader Masters ONLY the intensity. all the NiPs snap to position as soon as the sub handle leaves 0% (or you hit the "Mark" (bump) button).

Change the sub back to Proportional. ALL data recorded in the sub will run up proportionally with the fader handle.

Yep, had the sub as Proportional. Some of the Nips do respond as expected with the output going from 0 to the max recorded. However other do not. Example is two of the fixtures I am using now (Blizzard Lighting Blade RGBW and Snake Eyes) with a color macro parameter. It will drive the output to the max recorded. So maybe there is something with how the parameter for the fixture is stored?

That color macro parameter is probably set to Snap in the fixture personality, since it doesn't make any sense for it to fade through its various states when cross fading a cue
