ION wing top sub button active/inactive group select behavior

Question

On ION v2.3.2 and currently when a sub is inactive the top button on the fader wing will group select the active channels in that sub.. if I raise the fader above 0 - it halts that behavior.. my desire is to always have it allow me to group elect sub contents.. 
 anyone know of an option to change this or is the behavior perhaps 'fixed' in newer software?

The behaviour as such was not changed, but you can imagine that since the current version is 2.5.2 a lot of stuff has happened. Especially to fader config. So now you can change that button from default behaviour over to always group.
