Updating Magic Sheet Views

We've been working on updating a magic sheet for one of the broadcast studios that we are in the process of expanding. We were trying to update the views on our magic sheets as some of them have moved and we have those views linked to a variety of macros. After much trial and error I found that the only way to be able to "update" a magic sheet view was to save the view I wanted as a new view and then moving that view to the correct view number. It would be great to have the ability to update magic sheet views from the command line or to give an option to do so in the display menus.

  • You can use the standard Record and Update command line commands.

    [Record][Displays]{Magic Sheet}[9][Part][7][Enter]

Will post "Record Magic Sheet 9 View 7 •" to the command line.

You can substitue [Update] for [Record], though in this case the result is identical.

You can also leave out the magic sheet number, as the console will auto-fill the current magic sheet that has focus.

You must enter a View number, however, as the console isn't quite smart enough to know which view you want to modify... yet...
