LED on faders

Question

Hi, 
 
 I want to have red green blue on 3 separate faders but mix between them but if I used a fixture parameter and record by palettes to faders I cannot mix, what seems to happen is the following 
 I put fader 1 up it goes red great! but when I go to put blue fader 2 up it doesn't create magenta it overrides and goes blue. I understand this could be down to http lip but I'm still hazy on http and lap faders 
 if I put green up on fader 3 this takes blue out and put green to 100%

Are you sure you are recording only the red, blue, and green parameters on each fader? The behaviour you are describing suggests that each fader also has the other parameters recorded at zero.

also, you need to add the LED channels to Home Preset with a 0 output for each of the colours. (so they home to 0%, and not full %).

 I think it's easier to create a generic LED profile in the fixture editor with each color homing to 0. That way if you add more of those lights to the rig, they automatically home to 0 and you don't need to keep updating your home preset.
