iRFR not showing cues

I tried using my iPhone today on a show and ran into something I don't remember seeing before. The phone was connected to the ION. When I looked at the Cue list they were all there. However when I went to Playback it said something like no cues in list, or something similar. I could hit the go arrow and the cues would actually advance as well as the stop/back would work, but there was no indication at all what cue was running. The center of the screen was blank.

Any thoughts?

  • My guess is that the iRFR program you have doesn't work properly with the 2.0.1.9 version of Eos software.  Today Eos 2.6 software was released and a replacement for iRFR is coming out shortly.  Ueli posted the link to the current Eos software download location.  iRFR upgrades would be available in the apple store directly on your iPhone.  I

Your problem could be network related.  It is possible your phone updated your iRFR and that is what is causing the cue info to not display.

I would suggest updating your console.  Don't forget to check the change log as a great many things have changed since 2.0.

  • Sorry. This is really spinning way off the rail. My EOS software has always been up to date. When I was using the iRFR software back when I made the original post I was running the EOS software that was one prior to 2.6. However I never meant to refer to any EOS software.
I was understating the post from Deetsch when he replied: "Mine is working as expected. @5, 2.5.2, iPhone (with the 64 bit iRFR update) Cue List 1 on the Master Fader" as referring to the iRFR software version on my phone therefore the reply I did was regarding that. My phone iRFR software appears to be 2.0.1.9.0.14. Is that the latest iRFR software? If not where can I get the latest? If it is, why might my phone playback screen using iRFR software not show the cues as they are running? It only shows cues in the cue list, not the playback screen and when I use the go command on my phone it does advance cues. It just does not show them on the playback screen.
I hope this gets us back on track again as to my original post.
  • I think I'm up to date with where you are. I don't know why the cue list would have info and the playback screen would not. The version of iRFR you listed is the most up to date. I tried the app and it works properly for me. I would suggest killing the app and restarting your phone. If that doesn't work maybe it's time to call ETC tech services.
