  • On ION you could just try the different Generic profiles for LED fixtures that come with the Fixture Library.
You can find them in the manufacturer list under "Generic". Their labels indicate the Parameters.
So if the device uses the DMX-configuration that Mike A describes, you should go for the "LED IRGBSM" profile und "Generic".

If the profile doesn't fit your device exactly you can take it as a starting point for creating your own profile.
Once you have patched a Channel using the profile it will show up in the "Fixtures"-list, which is accessible via the "Fixtures"-Softkey when in the Patch-Tab.

In the "Fixtures"-list select the Profile and copy it via the "Copy" Softkey.
This will create a copy of the profile that is editable via the "Edit" Softkey.
In the edit menu you can change the parameters that are assigned to the DMX-channels or alter the value-ranges.

For a tutorial an patching see youtu.be/AUkvKEYxTwg

If you have no idea what the DMX-configuration could be, just patch a few dimmers starting with the devices address and play around with their intensities to find out which channel does what.
On some fixtures the on-device settings overwrite the DMX-input.
So for example if the on-device intensity is set to 10%, the output is limited to 10% even when the DMX channel is at 255.

All of this goes for the EOS system. Avolites is not my cup of tea...
  • thanks for helping,
it works with 6 dmx ch. RGB 6DMX
