EOS + Robe DigitalSpot 3000DT

Hello,

Next week I am going to control 12x Robe DigitalSpot 3000 DT. I would like to promote EOS but doesn't have the template for 3000DT. For Congo I did the one myself and works great. I have to many outputs (fixtures) to use Congo, so I would like to use EOS. I could create the template for EOS too, but still don't know how to insert new necessary parameters (and contents) for this device.

Does it mean I will need to use competitors conslole for this application or maybe somebody can halp me with creating template for this fixture?

  • Adam, I just checked the library... we have the 5000DT, but not the 3000.... well, guess we'll be getting right on that.  In the meantime, you can create your own profile.  If you go to patch, you'll see a button below the CIA called Fixtures.  Pressing that accesses a list of all of the fixtures you already have patched in your show.  You'll also see a button called [New].  If you press that, it'll create a new device called "New Fixture."  You can label it by just selecting it on the CIA and pressing [Label] .... etc.

    While its selected (backed in gold), press [Edit].  This will bring up a chart.  By default, we great the first parameter as 8Bit intensity..  If you press in the area labeled "intensity", it'll bring up a parameter map.  You;ll see entries in the table for 8/16 bit, DMX, LDMX, home, etc.... to create your next parameter, just press new and repeat the process.  It's pretty straightforward.  Oh, be sure to press [Done] when you are finished.  Drop a line if you have any problems.

    I hope to use 2 robe 3000s on an Ion next week. Is there a personality available?
