Would a generic usb midi interface work on the @5 for receiving MTC? Something like https://www.amazon.com/Generic-Interface-Converter-Keyboard-Adapter/dp/B00ZBZN3LW
I know, I know... you want me to use a show control gateway... That's not my question :-)
On Nomad USB-MIDI definitely accepts timecode. Maybe it's different on the @5, although that would be quite strange.
Here's a picture of the interface I used to test it. I sent MTC from Samplitude on my PC to Nomad on my Laptop.
Samplitude's MIDI Out went through my Focusrite Saffire Pro40 and into Nomad through, what looks like the exact same interface Jason bought.
