Universe(s) Output View

Hello,

I have only EOS for a while, did some patching, recorded Cues and would like to see the output of DMX line having no fixtures. Does the EOS has View of the Output like Comgo has Output Editor tab? Or maybe any other way to view DMX output from EOS on Monitors.

  • Adam, we do not do a full screen output view, per se.  I'm not too clear on what you are looking for.  It sounds like you are trying to see the DMX output of unpatched channels?    Or are you looking to just see which DMX addresses are not patched?  That you can do in patch.

You can open [About] and then select the address you are interested in looking at.  This will tell you the current channel an address is patched to, what parameter is assigned to it (if any), its current DMX output, current source and home position.

    Does that help?

  • Hello Anne,

    That helped, thanks ;-)

I thouhgt about output view of universe values (1-512 or some range of it) in order to compare values of eg 3 channels at once (for moving lights).

[About] is nice function, as I realized it works for one channel at once. Preaparing the show on offline or working on EOS without fixtures (training) it would be nice to preview output values of few devices. Of course it is my opinion and I like as it is in Congo ;-)
