having an issue that sometimes when I connect, I only get the cue list and settings buttons as though the app was not paid for, is there a fix for this

  • Jim, I've had the same issue. You'll need to exit the app. Connect to a network with internet service. Restart the app, this should authorize the full version of the app. You can then switch back to your console's network, and you should have full control. I find that the registration holds until the device is powered off. This is unfortunate, because we will sometimes go a week or two without using the remotes, so we power them off between shows. I supervise a couple of venues with these, and I'm finding that while the new version is better than the old one, my operators don't trust it to be stable enough to use.
    They decide that they need to go back and forth to a console, rather than fight the technology. Though I understand the logic behind having one app in the store, it would be more efficient for the end user, to have a demo app, and a full version app, that does not require internet access. Or if there is a way to make the registration survive a power cycle, that would also solve the issue.
