Possible Bugs?

-When in a Flexi and you have "Group Channels by 5" selected, if there's a break in the channels at the beginning on the group of 5, it shifts the rest of the row over the width of one gap between group of 5. This doesn't happen if the channel break is at the end of the group. (See Image 1)

-When using a fixture that has a parameter that uses Degrees (Pan/Tilt), using [Shift] to get fine control ends up giving you control up the 0.001 degree, which is pretty much useless. Maybe add a feature where you can set the fine control based on Degrees and percentage as well as course control.

-When you record a snapshot using the syntax: [Record] (Snapshot 1) [Label] **** [Enter], when you recall the snapshot, it brings up the QWERTY keyboard.

-Say you record a snapshot with faders while you are in a cue. When you recall the snapshot, it reloads the cue you were in while recording the snapshot, regardless of what cue you are in when you recall the snapshot.

  • Snapshots can be a pain, especially in regards to the CIA being open or not, I'd recommend labelling snapshots after you've recorded them (after pressing Enter).

You can be selective about what goes into your Snaps, untick the boxes you don't want recalling (faders etc. . )

I tried modifying some screen Snaps the other day and it seems that you can't uncheck stuff in the snapshot list, which is a bit annoying, meaning you have to re-record them.
Hope that's in the pipeline for a fix, would be nice to be allowed to be clumsy and edit the stuff out afterwards.
  • Just recommending a fix for the labeling issue.

I'm not sure what your comment about selective snapshots is in response to. I don't feel like snapshots should jump you into a different cue when you've recorded faders into that snapshot. I'm aware that you can be selective with the snapshot. But if I want faders to be recorded, I have no desire for it to put me into a completely different cue when I recall it.
  • ETC is aware that changing cues isn't always what you want to do when recording Faders into a snapshot. But sometimes it is, so they will probably not change that behaviour. They will rather add more granularity. This is on the list but hasn't made it into a release yet.
