Softpatching without affecting the cues

Hello all.  Im sitting with a show someone else has set up and the soft patching is like hell instead of 1 to 37 its like 35, 1,3,22,28,82.

So.... i was wondering if it were possible to change it without affecting the cues like if you could lock the adress to the cues and change the channel names.

im Sitting on a Nomad if that changes anything.

  • Probably the Move To command would do what you want (I've not tested it), but watch for the caveat about Macros and Magic Sheets not being updated by the process.

The Eos Family Console Programming Level 3: Advanced Programming workbooks says:

    MOVE CHANNELS IN PATCH
When you move a channel in patch, you are essentially renaming it from one channel number to another. All show file information and patch information get moved to the target channel, as well as park information for the channel(s).

[116] [Copy To] [Copy To] [120] [Enter]

Moves channel 116’s show and patch information to channel 120.

    NOTE:
Certain show information will not get copied or moved when executed through Patch. This includes channel numbers called in macros, and channel objects in Magic Sheets and Pixel Maps.

When copying a channel, park information from the origin channel does not copy to the target channel(s). However, when moving a channel, the move will be made in Park as well.
  • Thank you so much your awsome.. it worked great.
