Manual control time per channel?

Is there a way to apply manual up time to certain channels? I am working with some very, very large incandescent lamps that should always be brought up slowly. Is there a way to configure those channels to always have a 5 second fade to full without having to use sneak every time? I know the desk settings have an option for manual up time, but I don't want it to apply to every light, just those few big ones.

There is no such function as a channel-specific manual up-time.
The only way to achieve what you want I can think of is this:

Select the large incandescents and put them to full. Then record them to an Intensity Palette.

Set up a Manual Time Fader in the Fader Configuration ([Tab][36]) and assign the incandescents to it's channel filter. The maximum value should already be set to 5 seconds, as this is the default setting. If not assign a max value of 5.
Put the fader to 100% and never touch it again.

From now on, every time you want to put one of the incandescents to full, you select the channel(s) you want to use and assign the Intensity Palette to it, preferably via a direct select. The selected channels will now fade to full in 5 seconds. I'd set the Intensity Palette to absolute though, so you won't have to worry about references or data hiding behind the IP-label in the Live table.
