More than Six fader pages

Using a Gio with the 2.6.1 software and I have a question about scrolling through the fader pages. I am using a board that was set up by a previous lighting board operator and I can access submaster fader pages 1-6 and it will say Page 1 or Page 5 at the bottom right hand of the monitor. Going past Page 6 and the 60th submaster fader it will recycle to Page 1. Adding submaster 61 or 70 doesn't create a Page 7. Holding down the Fader Page button and hitting the number 7 will create a page with 7/1, 7/2, 7/3, etc but accessing that page easily on the fly isn't available.

My question is am I able to do this and how do I allow access or am I wishing against hope and there are 60 submasters across 6 pages under the Fader Page button and just move on?

Thanks in advance.

  • this has two elements:

    - there are 100 fader pages. it would be kinda annoying to have to scroll through 94 empty ones when going from 6 to 1. that's why the console shows only fader pages that have at least one fader that's not empty

    - what you see there, the physical things you can move up and down are faders. what you record are submasters. a sub is a memory somewhere within the console. you can assign a sub to a fader so you have the physical thing to manipulate the memory sub. your fader page 7 has 10 empty faders, this has nothing to do with the existence of submasters 61 to 70.

so: FaderPage+7 to go to the empty fader page. then assign the faders to a sub: type Sub 61 and then press the single button above the fader (this is called the Load button). to assign multiple faders at the same time: Sub 61 Thru 70 and then press the first Load button
