Outputting a third universe

I have an Eos Ti that currently outputs 2 universes of dmx via 2 5 pin dmx ports. I need to temporarily add a third universe. Is it possible to slave my ION (or a single universe nomad dongle and gadget) to the Eos to create a third universe.

Indeed, would it be possible to create the third universe via usb output from the Eos to the gadget?

I know that a networking solution would be best, but there is no budget. Basically I need control of 60 ways of RGB LED festoon, but don't have 180 addresses to spare on the current setup.

Your Ti has at least 4096 outputs available so if you plug in a Gadget you can send a third universe from the Gadget. You won't need to use a Nomad dongle.
(Even if you did plug in a dongle, it wouldn't add to the output count.)

That would work if he happens to have a gadget but as his other desk is an ION not Nomads he'd probably need to buy one.

(if he's buying its probably better to buy a artnet device for approx $150 as that is probably more flexible for the future)

It really was as easy as plugging in my gadget and addressing it. I now have four universes to play with. Thanks for all the info.
