Fader wing won't boot

This week is a bad week, first issue, one of my Ion won't boot, after open it and check the connections, it boots again. I asked the forum if this problem come again in tour, and that i cannot resolve it, I can use my dongle on my computer? But no answer...

All this week i had to reboot my Ion each time because it does not send ArtNet, does somebody know why? ( The network was already on...)

This morning I cannot turn on my Wing, nothing on the screens, does somebody already had this issue?

Thanks

Laurent

  • You should call tech services and they will help you. The forums are not meant for time critical fixes. ETC has 24hour support for a reason. I'm sure other people have had issues but their experience will not necessarily fix your problem.
  • Thanks for your answer, I already call technical support for my Ion boot issue, they help me to open it, thanks to them. I fixed my fader wing issue alone (changed the power supply)...
But maybe someone can help me there for my network problem. Each time I boot one of my Ion desk, ArtNet is not working, i must quit and come back, and then it works...thanks for the support
  • It sounds like the windows networking on the ion hasn't t got itself established before EOS starts up.

If when it's not working you go into the about tab does it show a different (or no address) compared to when it's working?

Is the desk on a fixed ip or is it using dhcp to get its address. If dhcp it's probably you just need to wait a bit longer when booting the ion after switching on the device that is acting as dhcp server, so it's up and running by the time the ion asks for its address
