Collor Palette Setup Macro + Bug?

I don't think it's a bug and I can't reproduce this. If the macros look identical, they will behave identically. Carefully compare the two versions of the macro. You may want to repost them in their entirety - exporting to USITT ASCII will make this easy.

I looked at the ASCII file and still couldn't find any differences.

I was able to reproduce the problem by learning a macro, selecting last, changing them to a standard color, (Not Rosco, Lee, etc... one in the color picker standard colors.) and then editing it by deleting all but select last and making it look like above. Learning to any manufacturer specified colors then editing works perfectly. This is turning out to be a super niche error.

I was able to reproduce it on an EOS ti at an ETC booth at an expo near me. I confirmed the bug with an ETC rep.

I looked at the showfile and macro 2 doesn't work (although it doesn't have the update part), I tried making macro 3 in the macro editor and it worked. I deleted macro 2 and made it again and it worked.

I'm not sure what you're trying to do with the macro (with the update part) there are much better ways to put channels in picker colours in the colour palette.
One example is to have a dummy channel in the colour palette, in the picker colour and then just copy the dummy channel to the other channels. Using By Type Palettes also helps.

I like this. "Blind: Color Palette: Color Palette 1 Thru 28 Chan 301 Copy to 401" works so much better than what I was trying to do!
