Gadget 2 is not working with mac 10.13

Hello

I'm trying to run lights with a Gadget 2 on my mac with high sierra 10.13.1 but it's not working. It seems that there is no dmx output coming from the gadget.

The dongle is working and the number of the external device looks all right. I also already tried to restart the mac, plug the gadget in and out… I also did an update of the ETCnomad software.

Maybe someone has an idea what I can do?

I'm also wondering if this may be a problem of compatibility with macOS HighSierra.

If possible I'd try the Gadget on another computer.

Apple are always breaking things for developers in their major upgrades which is why I always wait at least 6 months before I upgrade my OSX.

Apple just don't seem to care about us niche markets anymore and just want to force peoples arms into their way of thinking!

Thanks for you're answer.
I could try it out on an other laptop and there it worked. This was on a mac with 10.11. It really seams that it's a problem with OS 10.13.

The irony is, that apple introduces itself as designed in particular for professional art related work but seems to ignore completely some necessities for working...

I'll try to find a way to install a lower operating system on a second partition or work with artNet.
