Console Output View

Hello,

From technical point of view if I set the installation (e.g. controllers for RGB fixtures with different modes) if something does not work I would like to know/view what DMX values the console is sending to know where the problem is. Is it the fixture or its controller problem, or maybe for some reason the console send no data or different than I expect.

In Congo there is live tab where I can see outputting values [%] and Output Editor I can see the 8bit values. In EOS there is About, but If I set Effect 916 to have intensity change in time (to go to my club and look which fixture is changing intensity at the moment) first I had no information, how the values are changing. In live and in About 'E916' appears instead of actual Intensity value. Then I can miss that somebody before set the Scale of Effect on the level of 1%, so the value almost does not change at all.

EOS is a big, top model lighting console and it should have everything man thought about in this industry and is useful for something. Is it alright that I need to use external DMX tester or software (for Ethernet) to preview what the EOS is outputting?
