Obsession to ION Problem

We have a show (Programmed on an Obsession II) on a disk. We converted it to ASCII and then imported it into our offline ION program, but the NIPs (for our automated fixtures) don't seem to have translated. All the intensity channels for the conventionals translated fine and as far as I know the intensities of the movers (VL-1000s) are okay too. Can anyone offer any advice on how to make our NIPs correctly map on the ION.

Unfortunately this is not completely possible in the current release of Eos/Ion software. Please feel free to email me at josh.selander @ etcconnect.com and I can help you out with the ASCII import. All of this is fixed in v1.4.2 which is due out later this month.

Please do contact either Josh or someone else at tech support. We've done a lot of Obsession file imports... there are some tricks with moving lights, due to the differences in the libraries, but we should be able to get most of your data in. And 1.4.2 is now released!

Please do contact either Josh or someone else at tech support. We've done a lot of Obsession file imports... there are some tricks with moving lights, due to the differences in the libraries, but we should be able to get most of your data in. And 1.4.2 is now released!
