Color palettes direct select double tap = recall from?
I recently noticed that when you double click a color palette direct select for LED lights it will automatically switch all of the leds in the rig (not just the selected channels) to that color. Recall from pops up in the command line. Is this intentional? What is the application? Is there a way to turn it off?
Direct select double click is a desk setting (Setup>Desk Settings>Displays) which can be enabled or disabled. The idea is that you might have a bank of direct selects for palettes and a bank for groups. You would then be able to tap to put a group on the command line and then double tap a palette to set those lights in the palette quickly. This can be handy for programming on the fly.

actually the double click is even quicker as you don't have to do any selection. if you have somehow selective (e.g.) color palettes, i.e. not a palette for everything but let's say a palette for a certain color of your back lights you don't need to find the group for your back light first you just double click the palette.
you can switch this off as sasha mentions, and actually i think as a default it's disabled.
if you don't want it enabled but still want to use the functionality, you can do so with the syntax you discovered.
