Patch info backwards compatibility.

Question

My computer has 2.6 on it but the ion at the venue is running 2.5 I only need patch data from one to the other for dimmers. Is this data backwards compatible?

It should work 2.5 show files worked on 2.4 almost ok (only really obscure commands in some macro recorded on 2.5 that didn't do anything on 2.4) not tried 2.6 to 2.5 but dimmer patches should be simple enough to work fine.
