Thesaurus?

Hi Jim.  We don't currently a document like this.  You have ... I think.... found the biggest issue that is easy to sound bite in such a fashion.  Where is the "release" key? is the most common, by far.

Hey guys - The newest release of Community server (the software running these forums) also supports Wiki's. We plan to have this software up before the end of the year where we can build things like a thesaurus. I'll report more on this later.

I have also asked for a thesaurus/glossary from day one - having the terminology change like this is tough on the learning curve.  We can't look up how to do something if we don't know what it is *called*.

 In the 10 months since we have had the ION, we are still finding things that we don't understand.  Please make the glossary!

I'd have to agree with mr jabadger.  Previous to EOS / ION I'd never really used any ETC console, so different terminology was always going to be something i came up against.  As jabadger stated - help key and the manual are pretty good.  I'd say the eos manual is one of the better ones out there by far.

That said, a glossary with the most common items (ie sneak) wouldn't be a bad idea... 

Hi all.   We developed a glossary during the early days of Eos development.  It's currently on my desktop - where I'm updating it and removing "engineering stuff."   Will post here when that's done.  It won't be exhaustive, but maybe it will be of help.    Just so you know, we recently hired a training manager in the marketing department (to supplement the training effort that we already have in tech support), who will be looking to put together a variety of different educational tools.
