* symbol in the Mark field-what does it mean?

Can anyone tell me how and why I might be getting an Asterix symbol in the Mark field of the Playback Status Display. Is this a new thing in 1.4.2? I've never seen it before, but now they are appearing all over the place, and I don't know how. Wouldn't be a problem, except that it's moving my Marks into different cues than those specified, causing noise issues. I can't work out where the pesky things are coming from. Anyone.....?

Hi Graham, I received your file and you have found a defect in the mark functionality. It should be marking in the cue you specified, and not displaying the "*" indicating that it thinks there is something stopping the mark.

We are working on fixing this now.

Thanks Dan. Graham... that'll teach me to hop on the forums before I check my email. Will advise as soon as we have a deployment plan for this fix and a couple of other that have come up.
