Mapped Macro?

Is is possible, or can it be made possible, to map the buttons on the fader wing to macros? Since there are no hard macro keys on my ion, and I do not have touch screens, this would be a really great way to give me some hard macro keys.

 

Just a thought.

    At some point in the future we do intend to have the buttons on the fader wings map to most of the record targets.  When the user presses the record target's button (palette, preset, macro, snapshot...etc.) the buttons on the wing will remap while the button is down.

    I can't give you an e.t.a. on that, but it is on my list of items to do.
