I have some of these Rasha Hex12 fixtures. I have been told they have been added to the library. I have been trying to use them with the manual build I made, with little to no success (many other issues) but nice to know now I don't have to keep importing/merging them once the other issues get resolved and I do start using them.
So I am testing them in the library now and have a question about one of the features in the ML Control. Under the Shutter Strobe :: Open section it shows 6 choices:
home, Open, Open 2, Open 3, Open 4 and Open 5.
I have a guess but don't know their purpose if it is correct because once any of the strobe choices are selected the 6 choices go away; well except for home.
Here is what my manual says that does not match the dmx values in the etc library: (That is one of the issues I mentioned above)
0-7 Off
16-131 Open
132-139 Strobe - slow-fast
140-181 Open
182-189 Pulse - fast close & slow open
190-231 Open
232-239 Pulse - slow close & fast open
240-247 Open
248-255 Random strobe
248-255 Open
(notice how they repeat the last two with different features. Again, this is only one of the many issues I have with their manual.)
Anyway I am thinking when the fixture was built into ETC those 6 choices; actually only 5 without "home" are all the opens in the list. Funny how when I click on any of the Open choices the dmx value on my screen is way off the manual I have. But again not sure why they are there since they are not accessable when a strobe is picked and when they are chosen nothing happens.
Any help from Hans or someone in library builds would be greatly appreciated.
Rasha is of little to no help.
I also see their fixtures fall under Custom rather than Rasha. Is that because when the requests were made no manufacturer was specified?
