Hi there.... effects on subs are not yet supported. But they will be in an upcoming software release. And to store them, you'll do it much as you store data to subs now.
Hope that helps!

Was this included in the v1.4.2 release or will it be in another future release?
Brian,
When people first started discussing this, there was a lot of talk about using a second cue list with an intensity fader as a workaround. In my mind, I had envisioned a step-based effect, rewritten as a series of looped cues. I have since been enlightened to understand that all it takes a single cue on a fader with any effect attached to it. I haven't needed to do this yet but it is a simpler way of looking at it.
good luck,
B

Thanks Brent. Brian. Effects on subs is planned for 1.5, which is currently scheduled for mid/late Q1 '09. Hope this helps.

hello.
I'm going to use EOS or Ion in France for musical but I need a BPM function with learn Mode for chasers and off course effects on masters !
Just a quick question,
Will the submaster effects be only the effect with the need to select the channels to activate, or will it be able to have the channels recorded into the sub as well (kind of like using the bump button for a NP and the fader for the intensity such on an IQ)? My preference is to have the channels recorded into the sub as well, otherwise I might as well just grab the channels and the desired effect off the direct selects.

The channels will be recorded in the sub. In most respects, effects on subs will follow all of the rules for cue recording.
more as we go :-)
