Broadway Chroma Q Scrollers with Element

Hi. I'm new to the Element desk but whenever I manually change the colour on the scrollers and program as a cue they change back to default colour as the next cue is changing. This results in a noisy flash of colours during the cue change! Any ideas how to get them to remain on a colour between cues? Thanks.

  • Are you actually trying to change colour from the first cue to the second one or are they supposed to be the same colour.

Assuming your desk is in normal tracking mode just delete the colour from the second cue if its not supposed to be different. (You can delete the colour by doing Channel 1 Color @ enter )

If it is supposed to be different then as its a scroller, you are going to see it go through the colours in between unless you actually have the lamp off while it changes. So you would need a cue with the light out in between. (In that cue you could change the color as normal or if you want to get into Automark the system can see that its safe to change colour there rather than waiting for the next cue that is a different colour)
