Scrollers on Ion / Scrollers on Obs II

Hi Folks,

I'm swiching to the Ion this fall, after using the Obsession II for years. I loved when it became possible to attach scrollers to lamp channels and then use @@ to get to the frame number you wanted. Is there a way to do this on the Ion? Do I really have to make each frame a color pallette? It seems like a step backwards, more navigation/keystrokes for a simple operation. Is the Eos diffrent in this respect?

Thanks,

Eliza

  • Eliza, at the moment, the best option is to store your scrollers into palettes.  This gives you labeling functions on the screens.  We will be adding setting scrollers by frame number shortly.    And no, Eos and Ion are the same software, so the operation is the same.  Eos makes it a bit easier because of the touchscreen associated with the encoders.

    Hope this helps.
