ION displays using 1 monitor VGA

Hi all

I have used an ION using 2 DVI monitors and I had complete control over what I wanted to view. However this coming week I only have the use of 1 VGA monitor. Can somebody help me in sorting out my display configuration using 1 monitor, I am trying to get up on screen my patched channel list on the top which I can do and on the bottom I want to bring up my moving light groups, saved pallettes etc.. but I am having difficulty. Can anyone help?

Thank you in advance

  • You can sort of do this. When Ion boots and detects only 1 monitor, it creates a split screen with Live/Blind on the top. Your [Flexi] key will work to determine which channels you see, just like always. On the bottom, you will see the cue list index. There will also be a CIA Show/Hide button. If you show the CIA using the drawing pin, and then to to Virtual Controls and open a virtual Direct Select module in the CIA, this should work.

The only caveat is that whenever you go to the CIA to do anything else, you will have to re-open the virtual direct select module.

    Hope that helps!
