I know this has been covered recently, but I'm scratching my head.
I just received the replacment RVI (serial number ending 0007).
1 VGA monitor (call it A) plugged into DVI-1 works fine.
Monitor A doesn't work with the VGA connector on the back of the RVI.
VGA Monitor B will work as DVI-1 in place of Monitor A.
VGA monitor B doesn't work out of the back of the RVI, or as DVI-2. (I expected this from reading the posts here). However, the screen will turn purple adn the Identify Number will pop up on it.
In all cases, the VGA connector on the back doesn't produce a signal (according to the monitors).
Is this a resolution setting?
Issue #2: changing monitor arrangements. I click External Monitor Arrangement, and it shows only 1 monitor. I click on Available #2, it hightlights, I click on the blank box below, and monitor 2 moves down. I click apply. I click yes to accept the new settings. the monitor windows close adn I get taken back to the general window. I go back to External Monitor Arrangement, and it shows only 1 monitor, and #2 is back up above. WHat am I missing to lock it in place?
#3. Under Advance settings for monitor placement, it has an x and y offset for monitor #2. What should that x offset be? is it based on the resolution of the primary monitor?
The RVI is running 1.4.2.9.0.3 Ion and 1.4.2.9.0.24 XPe shell.
Thanks.
