You can still use the RVI without ScrollLock enabled - this allows you to type in commands if you don't know the keyboard shortcuts. For examply, try simply typing "Go to Cue 1" (may not want to do this during the show).
Indeed, if you enable ScrollLock, the keyboard shortcuts that we all stay up late at night memorising will work as expected.

Speaking of shortcuts....
What would be nice is the ability to hit a button (maybe an 'F' key) and having the list of command shortcuts appear on the screen above the CIA. This is handy when looking for a command you don't use very often and solving the age old problem of searching through a stack of paperwork in the dark for the two pages of command shortcuts.
