Feature request: Unpark command

Are you talking about something in addition to channel x park enter enter?

Yes, because if you enter that syntax into a macro and run it twice by accident, the channel will be parked on the second execution, which is undesirable. Where as an "unpark" command would ideally leave the channel alone if it is already not parked.

Just create two macros

park enable
park disable

You have to put the enable and disable in in the macro editor as the softkey is (as far as I know only on the macro keys screen)

You're still S.O.L. if you're entering this from aRFR.
Is the channel parked or unparked? Who knows?

If you execute the macros I described, It doesn't matter if the channel is parked or not before you execute it (or even if you execute it on a mix of channels).

The unpark macro will unpark parked ones or do nothing to them if they are unparked already and the park macro will park ones not parked and do nothing to those parked already.

So the feature does exist! Thank you, I had no idea. I wouldn't have guessed that was the correct syntax, but I just tested it, and it works as described. Thanks again!

How did you know about this syntax? I've checked the park section of the 2.0 manual (though not the supplements), and not seen it mentioned. How long has this worked for? I'm just curious. :)

I think I found it by trial and error - I'd seen the enable and disable in the macro softkeys screen and also tried the on and off. The on and off gave syntax errors but the enable and disable didn't.

As an aside oddly for Capture it also accepts the syntax but ignores it and just toggles it anyway.

Actually I think I now remember that On and Off could be used with Capture in a macro,  but neither on/off or enable/disable could be used with swap pan/tilt.

So my clunky solution below I didn't need in the end

So on that I had a work around which was if I had a set of channels that I wanted to set either on or off and I didn't know their current state, my macro would do a capture on all of them which would result in them all being either on or off (as if any channel is a different state capture both turn off) then it toggled one of them and then toggled them all, which gets them all to the off state, regardless of their initial state. A bit clunky but was a work around for what is probably a bug.
