EOS Nomad Software | Creating multiple cue lists

Hello all,

Recently started using the Nomad software with a 10 fader wing in our theater. I am used to using an Element on a daily basis.

Is the EOS Nomad software able to do multiple cue lists? From what I understand, it should work with the following syntax: [Record][Cue][2/1][Enter]

Every time I use that syntax, as soon as I press /, I get an "Error: Number out of range" in the command line.

Am I missing a key button? Is the Nomad software able to do multiple cue lists?

Running version 2.6 Patch 4.0 GA Build 3

Thanks in advance for the help!

  • Just like Eos-Family has two different section (the element on one side and the rest of the family on the other side), Nomad also has two sides. If you start nomad in Element mode, it will behave like an actual Element and can't do more than one cuelist. If you're in "normal" Eos mode then you can record multiple cuelists just like the bigger consoles can do more than one cuelist.

Your syntax ist correct and will work as long as you run your nomad in non-element mode.

After you mentioned there being two modes, I started poking around the menus to find how to change between them.

The option is located in the most un-obvious, most hidden piece of text ever. I eventually found it on the splash screen at the bottom left. Wish the fact that the text is actually a link to another window was better indicated, like everything else on the splash screen (buttons perhaps?)

    Thanks again for the help!
