Sound Colour Change with ADJ Dotz Par 9ch?

Hi all, 
 
 I'm trying to use the "sound Colour change" colour mix mode on our school's ETC Element . We have 8 ADJ Dotz Par 9ch, and in the "colour mix" section, they have a mode called "sound Colour change". The only problem is, I can't tell where the baked would receive sound from. I tired the "line in" jack with a 3,5mm audio cable, and it didn't work . I also tried the mic jack .Does it have to do with the MIDI in?

That's going to be a mode on the ADJ fixture, it will have a mic built in and will do some basic sound to light function. 
 
If you wanted to control it through the desk then you'd have to use something like the software from the etc labs area

Specifically github.com/.../Sound2Light does a nice job
