Releasing cuelists back to 'house' look?

Hello! I don't know how best to phrase my question, and I apologize if it has been answered before somewhere.

I have a base look cue list (house lights - if you will) and I have multiple other cuelists for songs that will be playing in my venue. I would theoretically like to keep the 'house lights' cue list running in the background at all times, and have the end of my song cuelists release back to it once the song is over.

Have you done this successfully before? If so what way worked for you? So far I have tried a release macro and a 'goto cue 1/1' (house lights) in the EXT Links column but that didn't seem to work. I am not primarily a EOS programmer so my syntax for things is probably off.

Thanks for any help and ideas!

  • If you are running the cue lists on separate faders with the go for the cue list being the button below the fader it really should just work that when you fade out the cue list it the background state from the other cue list would just pick up.

If your loading the song cue list on to the master so the main GO button does the next cue then you'd need to have a macro executed at the end of the cue list that does and unload of the master and load with the new (house) cue list.
