Hi all:
I'm testing my RVI and discovered that I can't get some of the Shortcut keys to work on the QWERTY.
The Ion (1.4.2) is master User #1, the RVI (1.4.2) is client User #2.
Yes, Scroll Lock is ON.
Alt Z doesn't work. (goto cue 0). Shift G 0 Enter works fine. The Alt works, and the Z works, just not combined. This also doesn't work on the console keyboard as well. Making Macro 901 a GOTO Cue 0 command works directly off the RVI faceplate.
Park Park on the console puts the operator into the Blind Park screen. K works in a channel park command (1 a 50 k enter), but K K makes an error message. F3 K (Blind Park) opens the park screen.
What is the syntax to make a fader independant while on the RVI? Shift I (eye) doesn't do anything in a command line, in Sub Blind List, or in the submaster channel blind screen.
What is the syntax for timing disable to work on the RVI?
On the cheat sheet, it says ; (semi colon) to access the shortcut list. It should actually be F1 ;
I discovered that snapshots work on the RVI (Yah!), but not on the Ion. Very interesting. . . . However, it doesn't save what's in the CIA (if I've changed the CIA to colour picker from Direct Selects), AND the snap shot will clear\close any tab other than Live/Blind and playback.
I'm definitely leaving the Ion and RVI as 2 separate users. That way my Ion doesn't beep at me when the designer makes a typo.
What do people assign their RVI buttons to do? Looking for ideas. We're a conventional house, only 1 universe, 100 lamps, no scrollers.
Thanks.
