What is six years later the status of this? Has anything happened in the mean time?

No, there is currently no status change. While ArtNet output has been updated to ArtNet 4, there still is no RDM integration through ArtNet nor is there any commitment to implementing this.

You're always welcome to add a Feature Request, but since it's currently behaving as specified it's out of scope for this section of the forum.
