Intensity Effects

As always with effects there are multiple ways to create this.

So you have those three groups of three lights each, let's say they are nine channels:
11 21 31
12 22 32
13 23 33

You can have a step-based effect that has (Effect 1):
Step 1: 11+21+31
Step 2: 12+22+32
Step 3: 13+23+33

To start it go back to Live, then
RecallFrom Effect 1 Enter

Or, and that would be my way, use an absolute effect. My choice because all the elements (effect and the group) can be recycled and used for other stuff as well, whereas a step-based effect is a one trick pony.

Absolute effect (Effect 2)
Action 1: level=100
Action 2: level=0

Create a group that looks like this
Group 1: (11+21+31)+(12+22+32)+(13+23+33)

You can write the brackets with Shift+/ or you can have Offset help you: 11 Thru 33 Offset NumGroups 3 Interleave Record Group 1 Enter

Now with the absolute effect you have created a pattern and you need to tell the console to which channels you want to apply this pattern to:
Group 1 Effect 2 Enter
