Joystick Control on ETC Ion?

Hello everyone, 
 I have a Logitech Attack 3 Joystick (Connects via USB.) and I was wondering weather it would be possible to connect it up to my Ion (via the USB ports on the back of the console) and use it to control moving light fixtures. I won't be at the console for a couple weeks because I'm on holiday but it would make my life a lot easier for programming.

Nope. You could do it through a computer as a client with another piece of software in-between but it is a lot of work for something that doesn't work well... I would suggest a trackball or buy a #lighthack kit from ETC. Joysticks don't work well for moving lights anyway. Encoders are much better.
